Jasar Ahmedovski's path to stardom began in the early 1980s. At the age of just 16, he started his singing career with the songs "Svako svome mora da se vraća" and "Sudbina je moja u rukama njenim". His early talent caught the attention of industry veterans, leading to a significant meeting with legendary singer Šaban Šaulić in Sarajevo. Impressed by Ahmedovski's voice, Šaulić invited him to Belgrade, a move that would prove pivotal.
